Istituto Oikos is working for making teachers aware on Same World Edukit (http://edu-kit.sameworld.eu/), a multimedia online kit designed to bring environmental sustainability in theschools.
So far Istituto Oikos presented the kit in two schools: in the I.I.S. Cartesio (high secondary school) in Milan on April, 11th in which 16 teachers and the headmaster attended, and to 8 teachers of the Mincio Educational Institute (Milan, May, 12th). The kit has been also launched in one presentation upon invitation in Varese, on April, 20th, where 19 teachers attended.
The kit has been developed by the SAME World’s partners in order to spread knowledge about environmental justice and migration and promote global citizenship, by giving teachers an innovative tool for the inclusion of social and environmental issues in teaching curricula.
