Work in Progress
The S.A.M.E. WORLD project (SUSTAINABILITY. AWARENESS.MOBILIZATION.ENVIRONMENT in the global education for EYD 2015) was born with the aim to raise students and teachers’ awareness on Environmental Justice, and its connections with Climate Change and environmental migrations. Its main purpose is to encourage critical understanding, sustainable ways of living and active citizenship practices.
Here below the main project output progress. Follow our updates!
EDUCATIONAL KIT
Our Educational kit on Environmental Justice, Climate Change and Environmental Migrants is available online. It is translated in 12 languages and it contains useful sources for teachers who wish to tackle these issues at school.
BLENDED COURSE
We have designed a Blended course (online and face to face) on the topics of the project, with modules designed by educators and experts from 10 different EU Countries (Italy, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia and Spain). Three of them have already started, and more will start soon: fill in this form to find out where the closest course to you is taking place!
ONLINE GAME
The online game is an alternative tool to communicate the contents of the project to the younger generations. The game will allow young users to understand the environmental impact of our actions in a fun way. Follow our website to find out the updates!
INTERNATIONAL SEMINARS & EVENTS
Our first International Seminar was held in Milan on the 21st of October: a wonderful opportunity to meet and exchange views for school and university teachers, students and educational authorities. The second meeting was held in Tartu, Estonia, the 26th and 27th of October 2016. It was a highly important moment to share opinions and ideas and to renew the overall commitment to the project.
MULTILINGUAL PLATFORM
The website is ready, with useful information about the project and a private area for project partners. It hosts the Educational kit and our Online lessons for teachers, educators and parents!
WORKSHOPS AT SCHOOL
Many workshops took place in the Countries involved, addressed to pupils from primary to secondary schools. Check the News from the project to find out more about the workshops in several Countries!
THEATRE PLAY
The Theater Play “In Alto Mare – Deep Water” has been staged for the first time in Milan inside the Expo area on the 20th and 22nd of October 2015. In 2016 we will stage it in front of other Italian, Hungarian, Slovenian and German pupils! Click here to find out more.
